Hello, I’m Keena Nelson!

A Michigan native living in Texas, a wife, a mother of 2 and an avid gardener.

For years I knew that I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, to have my own businesses, but I really didn’t know how to do that.  Even though I’ve held a successful corporate IT career for over 26 years, I definitely knew that I did not want to wait until I had retired from my career to start accomplishing this big goal either.  That was a lie that I had believed, though not anymore.

I tried different opportunities that seemed like I would enjoy doing but nothing really felt like a right fit for me.  I ended up feeling frustrated and burned out trying to make things work all while balancing my career and family at the same time.  So, I wasn’t truly in business, I just acquired very expensive hobbies.  

Thankfully I have found a way to stop the madness of carrying out my business goals for months to years that had me feeling like a failure and thinking that maybe I’m not cut out for this business thing.  

I overcame those obstacles by knowing I had to get very clear on choosing which type of business that was right for me, know my true reasons why to pursue that opportunity and then learned how to put my plans into action.
